Wii U wont play dvd`s or blue ray`s

When i bought my Nintendo Wii i were disappointed when i found out that Wii would not play dvd`s. then i bought my Xbox360 and it played dvd`s very well so i used it in my home theater system, that was why my xbox360 was plugged and ready always .
i think when a company want to produce a good product it should make the product perfect, a very simple option like playing videos may change many many thing in the usage of it.

All sites and blogs says that nintendo`s new products are amazing and it will own the market again.

i am a big fan of nintendo but i dont find out what is the andvantages of these new products.

please tell me what is so interesting in these products.

A new bright idea from Apple

with onlive now we can play video games on our apple devices using a nice xbox like gamepad, but the important part is graphic support apple put a cloud rendering system on this platform so all graphic rendering will be done outside in the net.
